PROJECT OVERVIEW
Taylored Expressions launched in 2008 with a series of cupcake-themed rubber stamps. The small business has grown into a company that is known throughout the paper crafting industry for its high-quality, American-made products and mission to spread joy through handcrafted cards. The company recently built a new facility that combines retail, office and manufacturing space in one location.

Bell Brothers provided the HVAC design and build for Taylored Expressions’ new building.
The main goal for this project was to create and maintain a comfortable and healthy indoor climate for the people who come into the building to work or to shop. It was also a priority for the red rubber stamps and paper products that are manufactured onsite to be stored at the proper temperature and humidity level.
The HVAC system we designed and installed includes eight Carrier® rooftop units and one Carrier ductless mini split unit. Each rooftop unit has a variable frequency drive that provides precise speed control of the motor for more accurate temperature control and energy savings.
The rooftop units are also connected to energy recovery ventilators (ERV’s) to support humidity control and indoor air quality throughout the building.
One of the challenges we faced on this project was redesigning the registers and ductwork to accommodate the drop ceilings in the retail and office space. In total, we installed 1,400 feet of round ductwork.
