Bell Brothers provided the HVAC design and build for Kline Electric’s building expansion.
The main goal for this project was to install an all-electric system that was energy-efficient and would allow individual temperature control in each of the 24 rooms. The project took three months to complete.
The HVAC system we specified for this project was a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system from LG, which incorporates the latest in VRF and HVAC technology. Installing a VRF system allowed us to use a single refrigerant circuit that connects the two outdoor units to the multiple indoor units throughout the building.
The zone system was achieved by installing a cassette that provides heating and cooling to each office. The new heat recovery system not only increases occupant comfort but further increases energy savings.
The system also includes an energy recovery ventilator (ERV), which is used in commercial HVAC systems to draw clean, fresh air into the building and remove stale air. The ERV also captures contaminants, pollutants, allergens, pollen and more, helping to ensure that the air that enters Kline Electric’s office is clean and healthy.
