Bell Brothers provided the HVAC design-build and plumbing for the Center Stage apartments.
The goal of this project was to create and maintain a comfortable and healthy indoor climate for the tenants. The commercial HVAC system we specified included 88 Friedrich Vert-I-Pak® Vertical Package Terminal Air Conditioner (VTAC) units. We selected the VTAC units because they are more versatile for small indoor living spaces. Tenants can enjoy a quieter, more visually appealing living space without losing in-room temperature control or access to windows.
For the corridors and common areas, we specified and installed nine Carrier® heat pumps with air handlers. We selected this split system for its dependable operation and energy efficiency.
The building also included one energy recovery ventilator (ERV), which brings clean, fresh air into the building and removes the stale air. It also captures contaminants, pollutants, allergens and pollen. This helps ensure that the air entering Center Stage is clean and healthy.
In addition, our commercial team handled the plumbing for each of the living units and common areas.
This project took nine months to complete.
